NOTTALE Laurent, Theoretical Physicist.
Born July 29th, 1952 in Paris, France.

Diploma : Ph. D. in Physics at the University Paris VI-Pierre et Marie Curie .

Currently working as Research Director at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS, France); Member of the French Society of Astronomy and Astrophysics (SF2A); Member of the International Astronomy Union (IAU); Member of the French Society of Physics (since 1987).

His works : extragalatic astrophysics and cosmology, in particular the effects of gravitational lensing; Fundamental Physics : development of the Theory of Scale Relativity.

Awards : Special Award of the jury Louis Jacot (1978), Digital Award of the French Society of Astronomy Specialists (1987), Award of the Académie des Sciences (1987), Casys Award of the University of Liège (Belgium, 2003).
